Be Encouraged

I just want to encourage you! As I think about the devastation of Harvey in Texas and Louisiana and beyond and with so much going on in our lives; sometimes we have to encourage ourselves. I have included scriptures in this post to help keep you encouraged.  Know that you are not alone and God is ready, able, and willing to supply every need.

Be encourage knowing “The joy of the Lord is YOUR strength! Nehemiah 8:10 NIV

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV

…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 NIV

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Proverbs 18:10 NIV

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:24 NIV

Trust in the Lord and be of good cheer! Stand on His Word and know he is there!
