“‘Cause Your love is overwhelming/Your love is overwhelming…I’m livin’ in awe/’Cause You don’t need me at all/But You couldn’t love me more…I’m livin’ in awe/And every day I fall/But You never let me go…” ~ Awe by Hollyn

Are you ever overwhelmed by the sheer majesty of our Heavenly Father? Sometimes I find myself thinking, Lord, You are so much. It’s in those moments that I feel the Holy Spirit whisper to my soul and I feel that much closer to the One who loves me more than anyone.

The above lyrics are all I’ve been able to sing the past week. I’m finally living out what God has called me to do in my life. I am teaching French to a wonderful group of students and it is more than I ever dreamed. Not only am I fulfilling what I have been called to do, but I am now a mother. We heard our baby’s heartbeat very recently and it was so spiritual, I could feel the very presence of God as baby’s heart beat. His love for me is so overwhelming. I delight myself in Him, because I know that “…He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.” [Philippians 1:6b, NASB]

Dear sister, sit with Jesus and become overwhelmed by Him. He died a terrible death for our sins. He rose from the grave three days later, conquering death. And Jesus is coming…soon. Let yourself be immersed in the majesty of the Lord. Speak with Him and be overjoyed by what He can do with you for His purpose. Be encouraged, beloved, because our hope is in Him.
