Month of March

Hello ladies.  It’s March and spring is just around the corner.  (If you are like many of my friends, you are wondering which corner so that you can go meet it!)

March has been slated as Women’s History month in which contributions of women to events in history are highlighted.

This has caused me to think of women God used in my Christian history:  my mother, my sister, N. Lang, D. Jaggers, and a host of others (including Sunday school teachers, VBS teachers, etc.).

Who has God used in your life to place you in your God-ordained position? Let’s celebrate them as we praise God for His work in our lives, the lives of the women before us and those yet to come!

Scripture for the Week:  The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life (Revelation 22:17).

 Word for the Week

Shanghai (verb) is to force aboard a ship for service as a sailor or also to trick or force into an undesirable postion:  Penny shanghaied Kenny into helping at the book fair after her first volunteer bailed.
